Itinerary
Steering north toward the enchanting Nubra Valley, start your iconic adventure from Leh on a Royal Enfield. Conquering the Khardung La summit, capture awe-inspiring vistas from the world's loftiest motorable pass before your graceful descent into the stunning Nubra Valley, where a realm of wonders awaits. Traversing Hunder's dunes, where majestic Bactrian camels roam, take in the tranquillity of the Diskit Monastery amidst the rugged grandeur and the high-altitude desert landscapes while savouring a traditional Ladakhi feast at "Turtuk Kitchen" in Turtuk Village before spending the night at Nubra.
Embark on the second day of your journey with a picturesque ride along the Shyok River while you pay homage to the Thiksey Monastery, a sanctuary of spirituality. Indulge your senses in the flavours of Ladakh at "Kassey Kitchen," and ride towards Pangong Lake, renowned for its changing hues and filming location for the movie "3 Idiots". As evening descends, treat yourself to "The Himalayan Kitchen" for an experience that mirrors the region’s bounty, followed by a night by the lakeside, marvelling at the starlit sky and the tranquillity of the surroundings.
As you ride back to Leh, soak in the serene beauty of Pangong Lake, traverse the picturesque Chang La, and capture the breathtaking landscapes along the way. Additionally, you can also visit the Hemis Monastery, home to the celebrated Hemis Festival held annually. As you arrive back in Leh in the evening, take a moment to meander through the charming markets, sampling Momos and Ladakhi sweets before returning your rented Royal Enfield.
To extend your adventure, even for a day, embark on a captivating ride to Tso Moriri Lake.
