When you’re stuck at a crossroads of indecision, lost in an avalanche of information overload or trapped in a maze of overthinking, the only two things that’ll always get you where you really want to go - The Bear 650 and your Gut.
The Bear 650 embodies the spirit of a 16-year-old rookie who, in 1960, lined up alongside hundreds of sideburned hopefuls, all hungry to win the wildest race the Californian desert had ever known—the Big Bear Run.
Captures the spirit of "Fast Eddie's" victory on a Royal Enfield donning the number 249 across the finish line at the Big Bear Run, 1960!
In addition to looking good, the 2-1 exhaust system delivers better engine performance, whilst reducing physical size and mass.
Because the gut doesn’t know everything! Access your music, messages, maps, and more on the Tripper Dash, powered by Google Maps.
This canyon carver features upside-down forks on the front suspension promising complete confidence on open roads, trails and broken tarmac.
Chunky dual-purpose tyres are a key scrambler feature. Added grip on loose surfaces without losing confidence on tarmac.
Fuelled by the gut and powered by Royal Enfield’s proven 650cc parallel twin engine. Cased in a highly durable, premium black finish, it looks rugged and purposeful, amplifying the Scrambler attitude.
At the core of the Bear 650 lies a solid steel tubular double cradle frame. Steeped in success, this mild-mannered underdog of the desert awaits the rallying cry of the Gut.
Equipped with a 19 inch (front) and 17 inch (rear) spoked wheels - The Bear 650 feels confident on tarmac and when the tarmac ends.
LED lighting all around - headlamp, taillamps and trafficators - increases visibility, adds a premium touch and is a first on the twins platform.
The specifications of the motorcycle may vary as per the variant.
Technical SpecificationsScramblers can run high or low level exhausts - there are no hard and fast rules here. We chose to specify The Bear with a low level silencer in order to allow for easy fitment of soft luggage and to reduce discomfort for our customers from heat transferred to the right leg.
No. Tubeless is not a feature or an option available for this motorcycle.
The Bear 650 is powered by our proven 650-Twin engine, tuned for more torque over other Twins models, delivering an exhilarating riding experience. Thanks to suspension from Showa, as well as bespoke tyre and chassis development, the Bear 650 is a dynamic road machine, while remaining capable on broken roads and light trails.
The Bear 650 has its own distinctive character - very different to other motorcycles in the Twins lineup and our other platforms. The riding triangle is very open with an aggressive ‘elbows up’ riding attitude. The sound is unique to the Bear 650, thanks to the unique exhaust system
It contributes to the 8% increase in peak torque compared to other models on the platform. The compact single silencer & cat box with stainless headers reduces mass compared to a twin silencer system and pulls mass closer to the centre of the motorcycle. The exhaust has a distinctive sound - different to any of our other Twins platform models.
The usable capacity of the fuel tank is 13.8 litres with a potential tank range of 300km. The fuel efficiency is around 22km/l
The Bear 650 features our renowned 650 parallel twin cylinder engine which has already proved its mettle globally powering the INT 650, Continental GT 650, Shotgun 650 and the Super Meteor 650.The air-oil cooled engine offers 47 bhp (34.6 kW) at 7250 rpm and maximum torque of 56.5 Nm at 5150 rpm.
The motorcycle will be offered in 5 different colour variants- Boardwalk White, Wild Honey, Petrol Green, Golden Shadow and Two Four Nine.
