After second service of my 500x. Many time I'm facing problem mean while driving of the bike, engine shut down .
Trying to restart but isn't , took one hour to restart again
Please suggest what to do
I too have the same problem, But opening petrol lid isn't solving my problem. I purchased Royal Enfield 350 BS6 model.
I'm also having this issue and i bought the Royal enfield classic 350 stealth black BS6 model. After my 3 service i started using within the city and engine gets shutdown automatically. It become worse now more than 80times my engine gets shut down. Pathetic experience and service center mentioned there is no issue with the bike.
Same thing happening with me its shuts down every time.. 50 times atleast i am having bs6 gungrey and i was lucky i din met with an accident as my bike suddenly stopped while taking uturn on highway and the bus driver applied brakes.

Hi, They have change the Riley wire and ask me to drive bike for few days. I have drive my bike around 10 km today and faced automatic shutdown when running on low speed in 2 or 3 gear. I don't why I'm facing that issue. They had tested on around 20 km to highway and didn't faced shutdown single time. But in my case I have drive the bike in city and engine shutdown around 10 times. I'm very suprise because they didn't abled to find RCA of automatic engine shutdown. Well, I will drive my bike next 2/3 days and let's what happenes?
Dear bro It's same issue in bike after 1st servicing only 1000km start problem running engine stop and many days hold my vehicle in sareen motors dealer kanpur, These are not able to resolve my concern, then I am highly dissatisfied his servicing and Royal Enfield company services. 4 to 5 time facing problems and dealer send vedios this concern. Still not solutions. Now Recently my bike hold sareen motors Tilak Nagar kanpur. He is not given satisfactory answers and hold my bike. Please suggest me and help me.

I am having the same issue in my classic 350 bs6 after my 2nd service , any one from RE replies on this form or it just us sharing the problems.Have been to the service centres but they are good for nothing.
Bike is shutting off within a 30sec after engine start. Sounds beat slow slower and Bike off !!
I also have the same problem with my standard 350 bs6 i purchased in april 2021 with in a week i started experiencing this issue of missing in bike while running .. i have raised this issue in service center for about 4 times even my first service is over they really dont know how to solve this issue ... really pathetic the bike is just three months old and such issue from bullet ! Its sad ..
Multiple reasons can be there as my bullet also had starting issues within 1 month of purchase. 1. Relay fuse (4 of them) inside the tool box are not working. Get them checked and replaced. 2. Bike kept standing for some time creating high vapor pressure. Open the fuel tank for some seconds and close it before starting. 3. Petrol is not good quality. So change your filling station. 4. Spark plug not working in BS6. Get it checked. Hope these solutions help to resolve your issues

I am also facing same issue in my Classic 350 bs6 pure black from 1st service and I went to service station around 15 times minimum but no solution they do something and bike runs good for 30 kms but after that same issue engine gets off at 3 rd gear nd 2 gear and it doesn't start we have to try and it ll start after 7,8 times in self other wise in kick and after 5,6 kicks I am fully exhausted wid royal Enfield service now Very Sad I have buyed a 2 lakh bike nd not getting a solution of their own brand issues Royal Enfield has finished their quality in upcoming times And royal Enfield Is seriously not concerned about their customers Royal Enfield is giving this worst on customer service
I have a genuine solution to that but it will void your warrenty so please use it after your2nd servixe only and if there are not engine issues other than this. Change your bike from efi to carb of bs3 model Things to change Cdi coil( replace ecu) Bs3 carb. Bs3 wiring Magnet of carb. Models Elbow Hose pipe BS3 AHOswitch Bs3 wiring doesent support abs so change accordingly Things which will improve by this:- Bs6 missing issue which is also there in bs4 A better mileage(mine after change is 43kmpl) and the orignal raw power of bullet No tik tik sound from engine silent engine Slow rpm and heavy stroke sound(which everbody love :) ). Bike can be repaired by any local mechanic amd not by the service centre guys. Last but not the least, Bs3 bend and bs3 stock exhaust sound better than bs4 and bs6 with not challan problem. (I bought the bs3 exhaust(used) from karol bagh and bs3 bend(new) from service centre(gurgaon)). Might be because of Fuse related to engine ignition. Call Toll Free to RE. Thanks.
Please get your ignition coil changed. Also check if the fuel injector sound is fine when turning on the ignition. I faced the same issue and got ignition coil replaced as per RE recall policy
I am also facing same problem. Throttle body was cleaned but problem has not yet been solved. Company should take initiative to find out a solution for that

I purchased Gun Metal Grey Classic 350 BS6 in September 2020. 4th Service and 12000 km completed. In August 2021, while riding back from Rishikesh, my bike just stalled on a Highway at around 8 pm near inhabited place. With my home being 120km away and no one to help. I dragged it to nearby Petrol Pump. I even filled up more Petrol at the pump to confirm lack of petrol wasn't an issue. Everytime i gave it self, the engine won't start. Sometimes engine would run for a few seconds and die down . On rolling the accelerator , it would die down immediately. I somehow managed that day. This happened with me yesterday also. This time, I opened the spark plug which was blackened ,cleaned it and put it back. The bike started immediately. However, such issues were never heard of with new bikes . RE has really downgraded their quality.
Same bike same problem. Not fixed yet but a solution worked for me is... Keeping the fuel lid open and riding. I rode 15kms at a stretch and it dint stop for once. Else it was getting killed every 200-300mtrs. Need to take it to a workshop and see.
BS6, Classic 350 Stealth Black. Same Problem, when I read the replies on the forum I felt so related. This is the exact same thing that happens with me, At times I have been saved by luck from meeting an accident due to my bike getting off during a U turn. I'm mailing this to RE and attaching the forum link, I request you guys to do the same too, We have spent over 2+ lakh rupees on the purchase of this bike and RE is answerable to us.

Replace air valve & purge valve ....for fuel tank

Dear All, Me to facing the same problem. I am having Classic 350, BS6 model
There is purge valve fitted in these bikes to reduce air pollution. If it becomes faulty this issue will arise. Hence a very simple and cost effective solution is to disconnect it. It wouldn't impact your warranty. How to do it: Under your fuel tank there are 2 additional pipes near fuel pipe. Remove both the pipes and your issue is resolved. Don't worry, it wouldn't impact your bike's performance. Hope this helps

Hi, My Bike also had same issue, it was turning off automatically. It was resolved after changing throttle body. Also I have another issue, My bike is behaving differently some time engine is very smooth and sometime very hard and not enough power and hearing a chil chil type sound..
