We all like to go a little crazy sometimes and we at Mean green customs are no Exception. Straight off the workshop floor we present to you “lil loco” a crazy mix between an Old school Bobber and chopper.
A custom hard tail chassis is what sets the tone for this build, we’ve kept the seating position lower down giving the bike very long and clean design lines similar to the classic choppers of days gone by. We chose to integrate a sleek peanut tank to complement the lines of the chassis. We chose to have a single seat because a bike this crazy needs to be ridden alone!!
We fabricated a set of split ape handlebars so that our custom CNC Triple trees are not hidden by the risers and also to give the front of the bike a bespoke look. We choose a smaller yet Sharper headlight with a golden trim. We fabricated custom fenders that are just not basic and add to the old school vibe so the wrinkled up design and the lifted centre rib adds to the element. Towards the rear of the bike, we fabricated a sissy bar that fits directly to the rear of the chassis elevating and giving support to the custom old school fender.
We chose blood red and off white for the dual tone paint job and gave a peal coat to it and a matte lacquer coat for it to stand out yet not be so loud. To add the touch custom gold pin-striping between the blood red and the off white and out logo in the same. To touch the tarmac coupled with a set of vintage tread high profile tires wrapped on 18” spoked rims. A custom exhaust that is not so sharp like today’s choppers and taking some inspiration form the muscle cars the side horizontal facing buffed exhaust that shines from far away. And to add to the engine element since the engine is exposed and clean the pancake air filter is like a cherry on top. Hence the result is naked, original, old-school, one head turner that one would want in their living room as an art piece but yet could go for a spin whenever one wanted.
