Bobber

Bobber

I am thrilled that Royal Enfield has come up with such an inventive competition #BuildYourOwnLegend, which is going to  step up the custom motorcycle scene in India.

Royal Enfield Meteor being a cruiser platform I believe it is more appropriate to do a Bobber style Custom. The design theory behind the Meteor bobber custom concept is to keep it simple & minimalist with a strong character.

The idea behind this concept is to pull in youth/teens who are more involved these days in the digital platforms and  otherwise inclined towards riding scooters. Hence, the fuel tank painted in vibrant colour scheme and the overall package speaks volumes of the idea to draw younger generation to ride The Meteor.

The frame is almost kept unmodified. The rear end gets extended single sided swingarm to enhance the bobber style proportions.  The rear suspension is a linkage type monoshock to maintain the low ride height. The front end comes with a USD forks to beef up  the front visual weight. Handlebar is inclined downward like a typical bobber style motorcycle.
