Bobber

Bobber

My build is a bobber which brings out the best of both the worlds, retro and modern. Royal Enfield is famous for making versatile and retro looking mean machines and meteor 350 is the newest one in the line. But even with the tripper navi, the motorcycle isn’t new enough. But this was not the task, the brief didn’t ask to critique the existing motorcycle but to make more out of it. My design does just that and more.

I always wanted to make a hard tail concept, it seemed cool and old school but never functional. It took me a ton of research to bring this render to life because not only does it look the part, it does the part as well. the render doesn’t have a rear suspension instead it has a leaf spring seat which dampens the bumps to a bearable level and also because it isn’t meant to be ridden on a broken terrain, it’s meant to rip the city streets or for the occasional weekend ride. And if there be a day when the mountains call, this bike won’t fret away. USDs at the front ensure the motorcycle moves with the road at all times. A swept up exhaust because the straight pipes are too common. A thinner tank so when one sits with their knees hugging the tank, the aerodynamics aren’t disturbed and a single seat because why the hell not. My render and my sketch are attached below with an ending note.
