Royal Enfield 061

Royal Enfield 061

In India RE always stood out from the rest of the bike manufacturers in their uniqueness and well-built bikes. Up until the recent year the company focused on mainly two variants. Later the company was pushed to bring out more excellent road machines that suit different riders. These models which inherited the built quality of its predecessor also was equipped with modern specifications. And these bikes were my favorite ones from Royal Enfield.

When I saw the BYOL event I wanted to design much of a bobber-style meteor. Something which suited the legacy of RE, something which matched the aesthetics and heritage of the vintage RE  models paired with the modern technology. The recent RE models inspired me a lot, like the dual-tone green which I liked from the Redditch green edition. The whitewall tires and spoked wheel blended finely with the dual tone paint to create the vintage look that I wanted. For the headlight, I  wanted something different from the regular round domed headlight which I think all the RE bikes have.
