This motorcycle custom has been given the name Goose, in honour of the last dystopian movie hero for whom a motorcycle ride means freedom of the soul. The question is not when they gonna stop, but who’s gonna stop them.
Goose is a meeting of 3 motorcycles, first the underpinnings of the Royal Enfield Meteor. Second, the basic shape takes inspiration from the bikes of the first Mad Max film. Third, the aesthetics and looks from the scifi world of Tron. All these come to form the concept of a motorcycle suited for riding the futuristic open highways of a cyberpunk world.
Goose is impatient; it never stays in the same city on any given day. Goose has breakfast in New Delhi, lunch in Udaipur and then dinner in Mumbai and then plans it’s breakfast the next day in Goa. How is it able to go this much distance without tiring? Simple, Goose has a 30 liter fuel tank to goble down copious quantities of paranthas in New Delhi before needing to refuel on a gigantic thali in Udaipur.
Goose also knows the need of pacing oneself. In a cyberpunk world one needs to ensure that the fuel lasts long, so Goose has taken the appropriate measures. Along with an efficient heart and stomach, Goose also has carbon-fibre body panels and steel mesh parts where required which not only reduce the weight it carries but also the panels add a touch of aerodynamics which make the intercity runs effortless.
Goose knows that to survival in the cyberpunk world you need up to date information about the highway and the destinations. To get this information Goose has an inbuilt internet hub which helps it keep track of every kilometer of the highway to take precautions in case of zombie traffic build-up, gremlins-at-work or at night when the dreaded 40 ton multi-axle ogres roam the highways. The internet hub also lets Goose know how far its destination is and any safe houses on the highway should the need arise for emergency refueling or recovery from an unexpected injury.
Goose likes to be a lone ranger most of the time but he will never say no to helping fellow wanderers in need on the highways. Goose comes with a removable pillion seat which can be stowed in the rear below the luggage rack. Goose also sports glow-in-the-dark blue war paint which like the Azureus frog wards away night dangers keeping Goose and his companion safe while travelling.
Goose knows that a majority of the cyberpunk highways are smooth and easy to traverse but there the minority of the highways which are not so good to travel. For these stretches of highway Goose has taken the adequate precaution of installing after-market suspension and thicker tires of the same size at both its front and rear. This helps Goose stay firm on even the most challenging roads as well as terrains like beaches. In the end, after a spirited cruise on the highways there is nothing Goose loves better than a cold glass Lemon soda in a beach shack while relaxing lazily by the sea.
