The Iron Patriot

The Iron Patriot

Design: The Iron Patriot is a Bobber with features and lines inherited from Board Trackers.

Friday.

There I sat in my cubicle, sticky notes stuck to the walls like flies on fruit, a small plant in the corner to remind me of the world outside. I gazed at  my watch. " 5:45.. 15 Mins more.. ?". In the background, I could hear my team leader telling a junior how he is going to attend this seminar on  Sunday. I started slowly closing all the open tabs. I could hear bags packing slowly. The rustle and bustle of tiffins being packed and the  computers shutting down slowly increased. At the first sight of someone standing up, I stood up, slid my bottle in my bag, and grabbed my keys as  fast I could. I rushed out of the door, only to see the Lift was packed. " 3 floors.. 3 Floors are not a big deal.", I thought. I remember jumping down  3 stairs at a time.

As I entered the parking, my mind came to peace. There it was, standing in the corner, still as fresh as the day I built it. There was nothing in the  world like it. For a minute I stood there, still appreciating the motorcycle I built. My colleagues thought I was crazy, but only if they would have  seen me now, Their speculations would have become clearer.

The Iron Patriot, I named it. Why? Well, a Patriot is always willing to defend his country`s freedom. The motorcycle similarly defends my freedom  with utmost devotion. Every Friday, I have a belief, that the Iron patriot will free me from the shackles of the world. I will be Free again. Free to ride  wherever I want.
