Seen here are some of the hands behind the handcrafted Royal Enfield motorcycles. Many Redditch Royal Enfield factory workers visited the 1948 British Industries Fair on 'Worker's Day' and took the chance to be photographed on the company stand. This international exhibition, held just a few miles from Redditch at Castle Bromwich, was an annual showcase for British manufactured goods. Note the lawnmower on the left of the stand.
