Please read and accept the following Terms and Conditions before placing the order for Motorcycles through limited stock online flash sale.
Royal Enfield is offering for sale ninety-four (94) brand new Royal Enfield Classic 500 Tribute Black Limited Edition (BS IV) Motorcycles for Customers in India. By placing an order for the Motorcycle through royalenfield.com/Classic500tributeblack/, the Customer accepts the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Definitions:
For the purpose of this order,
(a) ‘Customer’ shall mean a customer who, for the purposes of booking a Motorcycle, registers himself/herself on the Website.
(b) ‘Motorcycle’ shall mean Royal Enfield Classic 500 Tribute Black Limited Edition (BS IV) Motorcycle that can be viewed on royalenfield.com/in/en/Classic500tributeblack/.
(c) ‘Website’ shall mean royalenfield.com/in/en/Classic500tributeblack/.
(d) ‘Sale’ shall mean the online flash sale of Motorcycles scheduled to be held on 10th February, 2020.
2. Sale:
(a) Royal Enfield is inviting bookings for ninety-four (94) brand new Royal Enfield Classic 500 Tribute Black Limited Edition (BS IV) Motorcycle.
(b) The Sale is on the basis of ‘first come, first served’.
(c) In order to be eligible for participating in the Sale, Customer shall register himself/herself on royalenfield.com/in/en/Classic500tributeblack/ during the registration period.
(d) Registration shall remain open from [start date & time] to [end date & time].
(e) Customer acknowledges that the colors/textures as they appear on the Website may vary from those on actual Motorcycles.
3. Registration, Booking and Payment:
(a) Upon registration, a Customer shall be allotted a unique reference number ("URN").
(b) Customer must check the applicable on-road price of the Motorcycle before booking. The price of the Motorcycle applicable for each Customer shall be the relevant on-road price of the Motorcycle in the city/state of delivery, as may be chosen by the Customer.
(c) Booking for Motorcycles shall commence and conclude on Sale date as it is a limited stock flash sale.
(d) Customers shall log on to the Website using the URN and book a Motorcycle by making an advance online payment of INR 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only).
(e) The advance payment/ booking amount is non-refundable.
(f) The currency for payment shall be INR (Indian Rupee) only.
(g) At the time of making this payment, the Customer shall be required to select a Royal Enfield dealership for the purposes of delivery of Motorcycle.
(h) Upon receipt of the advance/booking amount, a unique transaction ID is generated confirming the payment.
(i) Generation of unique transaction ID confirming payment shall not be considered as booking confirmation. All the confirmed bookings will be notified to the relevant Customers after the end of Sale.
(j) For the first ninety-four (94) successful bookings (including successful receipt of the booking amount), Royal Enfield shall send e-mail confirmations to all the successful Customers after the end of Sale. The confirmation e-mail shall also stipulate details of the balance amount payable for the Motorcycle at the selected dealership along with the details of documents required for registration.
(k) The Customer is required to make the balance payment for the Motorcycle at the chosen Royal Enfield dealership within ten (10) days from the date of confirmation e-mail, by cheque/ DD/debit or credit card. [Note:- receipt of amount paid through cheque shall be subject to realisation]
(l) In case the Customer fails to make the payment for the balance amount within the stipulated time, the booking shall be deemed cancelled and the booking amount will be forfeited.
(m) On receipt of balance price of the Motorcycle, Royal Enfield will make its best endeavour to deliver the Motorcycle to the dealership selected by the Customer within a period of thirty (30) days.
(n) The Customer must submit all the requisite documents to the dealer for registration, insurance etc. at the time of invoicing i.e. at the time of balance payment. For the purposes of registration, Customer must provide four (4) passport size photographs, address proof and ID proof, including such other documents as may be requested by the dealer.
(o) Any delay in the registration process due to provision of wrong or inadequate documents by the Customer shall not be considered as a delay on the part of Royal Enfield/dealer.
(p) The Motorcycle will be delivered to Customer only on completion of the transfer of registration in the name of the Customer.
(q) The relevant dealer shall inform the Customer when the Motorcycle is available for delivery.
(r) All bookings shall be non-transferable.
(s) Only one booking shall be permitted per Customer.
4. Warranty:
(a) The Motorcycles shall have the manufacturer’s warranty of two (2) years or twenty thousand (20,000) Kms, whichever is earlier, from the date of purchase.
5. Cancellation Policy:
(a) Customer will not be eligible to cancel any booking made on the Sale date.
(b) If Customer, at any time after the booking is made, cancels such booking or fails to make payment of the balance payment at the chosen Royal Enfield dealership, the booking shall be deemed cancelled and all amount received from such Customer shall be forfeited.
(c) If Royal Enfield fails to deliver the Motorcycle within the stipulated time period, the booking shall be deemed cancelled and Royal Enfield’s sole liability towards the Customer shall be to refund the amount received from the Customer towards purchase of Motorcycle.
(d) Customer will not be eligible to cancel a booking once the full price of the Motorcycle has been paid.
