  • hi guys , i am a new bulletier . at starting i used to keep air pressure as 30, 32 front , rear resp. but in the manul book it's 20,30 given .so i started keeping that pressure but it gives little flat look to tyre. & i think the bike also catches speed very slowly . so pls anyone of u can guide me what pressure should be kept? i own a Thunderbird.
    ok thanks ,happy riding.

  • Tyre pressures depends on several factors like the ambient temperature, rider weight, terrain of drive.
What I maintain on my Bullet electra 2004 is 26 PSI front and 34 PSI back. I weigh 100Kgs and I ride in Hyderabad.

    hey,
    i ride a 500 and weigh 70 kg
i use 20 in the front and 24 in the rear tyre...
ofcourse its a downside to mileage and pickup but the grip is good and hairpins are easy
    cheers

  • Hi sashi, manual says 30-20 psi,but i maintain around 36-28,this is due to our indian roads,if the roads are too good or if travel on highway,30-20 is enough, but if the roads are not upto the stds, then little more wouldnt harm, but dnt keep too much pressure also,as the ride will b bit bumpy..i owna TBTs 350 n i weigh 74 kg.
