• When is this Motorcycle being launched? What is new?

  The new motorcycle is the Scrambler. The SCRAM the strengths of the Himalayan with a more Urban appeal. A versatile motorcycle which is rugged, yet carries an urban design.

• What all colours are available in Royal Enfield Scram 411?

  7 Colourways across three variants Graphite Yellow, Graphite Blue and Graphite Red in base; Skyline Blue and Blazing black in mid; White flame and Sliver Spirit in top.

• What is a Scrambler?

  Scramblers by definition have been incredibly versatile motorcycles that are equally capable both on & off-road. Nowadays, most scramblers are street bikes modified to suit off-road riding i.e. with raised ground clearance, raised handlebars, raised exhaust and dual purpose tyres.

• How is a scrambler different from an adventure tourer?

  Royal Enfield already has a rugged, adventure tourer Motorcycle available i.e. Himalayan. Retaining the strengths of the Himalayan, we offer an urban suited, stylish and less intimidating Motorcycle under the Scrambler category.

• What is unique about the Royal Enfield Scram versus other scramblers?

  Most Scramblers are based on roadsters with some mechanical & aesthetic changes, these are motorcycles, with slight off-road capabilities. Whereas at Royal Enfield, our Scram 411 is derived from an adventure motorcycle, therefore retaining the rugged/robust nature of the Himalayan while also suiting the Urban Riding requirements of our customers.

• Why would one buy Scrambler instead of The Himalayan?

  For customers who find the Himalayan too off road focused or purpose built and find it intimidating, the Scram 411 will be the preferred option which on the other hand is suited for city riding and the occasional adventure.

• What's different or new in the Scrambler?

  The Scram 411 will offer Himalayan 'DNA with a new look & feel of a scrambler. It will offer:
  1. Dual purpose tyres with 19” Front & 17” rear wheel.
  2. New Front Styling with Signature Cast Metal Headlamp Cowl.
  3. Comfortable Single Scrambler seat.
  4. Chiselled side panel with slots.
  5. Urban Badge Plate with Royal Enfield logo.
  6. Stout light rear fender.
  7. Offset Speedometer with Tripper Navigation, available through our "Make it Yours" configuration.
  8. Trafficators moved down for a new visual appearance.
  9. Scrambler is lighter than Himalayan.
  

• Are the tyres of Scram 411 and Himalayan the same?

  Yes, Both Himalayan & Scram 411 offer Dual purpose tyres. While Himalayan has a 21" front & 17" rear, The Scram runs on a 19" front & 17" rear. This configuration is more suited for urban riding while retaining easy riding capability over rough surfaces.

• Is the Scram 411 seat same as the Himalayan?

  The Himalayan comes with a split seat at a height of 800mm whereas the Scram 411 has a single scrambler seat with 795mm seat height. Comfortable and accessible seat causing less fatigue during long rides for both rider and pillion.

• Are there any finance or exchange offers available on the motorcycle?

  We do have attractive finance schemes available for our customers. You can also use our recently launched EMI calculator at store, on RE App or website to be able to look at various options on finance.

• Will it be expensive to maintain as compared to the Himalayan or other RE motorcycles?

  There is no change in the maintenance cost.
  Further, one can opt for AMC which gives peace of mind with known cost, cashless service & repair under the scope across the PAN India network. Also Extended warranty option beyond the standard warranty to take care of surprise costs coming up in the course of ownership.

• Will these motorcycles be available with the new platform/engine, as was the case with the Twins and Meteor?

  The Scrambler retains the dependable 411cc engine which has been tried and tested by riders across the world for 5 years now. This is the same engine/ platform that recently was ridden across the Antarctic to reach the South Pole.

• What are the other benefits or offers you are giving when one decides to purchase the Motorcycle?

  Our customers will get a frictionless ownership and riding experience with:
  1. RSA: 1 year complimentary Road Side Assistance with subscription based renewal upto 5 years, basis within 30 days of the date of expiry of the ongoing RSA. It's a 24X7 Roadside Assistance including Towing and Repair On Spot.
  
  2. Warranty
  : Standard Warranty of 3 years/30,000 kms, whichever is earlier and Extended warranty upto 2 years/20,000 kms.
  : 2 Years, i.e.4th & 5th year up to additional 20,000 Kms, Whichever is earlier.
  : With an extended warranty, the customer is eligible for Up to 5 years or 50,000 Kms whichever is earlier.
  
  3. AMC
  : Platinum and Gold packages available under AMC
  : AMC will provide complete peace of mind to our customers with coverage for 3 years or 30,000 kms.
  

• Whom do I contact for RSA?

  1 year RSA comes along with motorcycle. In case of breakdown, customer can call 1800 2100 007 or register a case through our Royal Enfield App and select RSA for support. Our nationwide network of service providers and mechanics will be committed to help you 24/7 across India and will be reachable on our all India toll free number round the clock. You can contact our Royal Enfield Support team at 18002100007 and mail them at support@royalenfield.com.

• How can I avail the "Make It Yours" programme?

  Through "Make it Yours", Customers can personalise their Srambler
  1. Assistance by the Sales consultant via the In-Store Configurator.
  2. Through our RE App: Configure it, save it and book it through our app.
  3. Through our Royal Enfield Website: Configure it, save it and book it online.
  You can choose the preferred seats, handlebars, engine guards and more. The option of getting Tripper as a add on is only available through our Make It Yours module.

• What if I want to buy just the motorcycle without any configuration/customization?

  Sure, you can definitely do that. You can decide to not select any of the options and just book the motocycle, either through our instore app, by visiting the dealer or do it online via our RE App or Website.

• Are any other GMA options exclusively being launched for the Scram 411?

  The MIY options for the Scram 411 will include most of the accessories available for the Himalayan. Apart from the standard seat there is one option of Scrambler seat available through Make It Yours.
  The Himalayan seats cannot be fitted on the Scram 411 and vice versa, due to difference in locking system between the two motorcycles. Also, The Himalayan Aluminium Panniers, Rails & Waterproof Bag cannot be fitted on the Scram 411.

• Which accessories are not available through MIY but the store/workshop?

  All the Genuine Motorcycle Accessories for the Scram will be available via MIY for the customer to choose from and personalise their Scram 411.

• Can all the accessories be interchanged between Himalayan and Scram 411?

  Except the Touring seats, Aluminium Panniers,Waterproof Inner Bag & Rails all the accessories can be interchanged between The Himalayan and The Scram 411

• We have read in social media that there are complaints about engine switching off, oil leakage complaints, chassis frame crack, has Royal Enfield addressed these quality issues?

  All our products are thoroughly tested before we launch. We have stringent quality control in place to ensure quality products are delivered to the customers. Despite of the best efforts we do come across sporadic issues in the market due to certain specific operating conditions, usage etc. which is the case for any manufacturer. We have a robust mechanism in place to process such inputs from the market and take effective measures to address them. Be rest assured that any such concern reported will be promptly taken up by our trained mechanics and resolved.

To suit the positioning of the crossover motorcycle, Scram 411 gets a 19" front wheel compared to the 21” inch front of the Himalayan. While the Scram 411 has a single seat unit, Himalayan gets a split-seat design. Both motorcycles have different front bodywork & different colour options as per the persona of the ride.
