 Bullet 350cc std
got a job in mumbai after four years of college in Manipal...it was different...in terms of people…the crowd...the way of life...the protective shell of best of friends that can ever be..

here i was surrounded by a storm of strangers...sense of urgency being synonymous...trying to fit as a grain of sand in a desert...asking myself is this what i am??? iis this how i am used to being???

still trying to figure out the ways of this enormous desert of people...during my endeavour i stumble upon this oasis of hope called Inddiethumper...

every drop of water constituting the oasis was so determined...such passion...so full hope...to quench every seeker in the same passion...desire and love for none but one...

love for a brute piece of metal...hot headed...drooling...loudest piece of machine...we proudly and lovingly call BULLET...

i was lucky enough to have the love, passion and respect for one eva since i figured out what a motor bike was...(thanks Papa)

Thus i willingly…with utmost joy and excitement took a dip into this oasis...i was painted as a THUMPER now…I was one of them now...

i was honoured to join them for a ride...boy did we ride...!!!

for those who have seen bulls ploughing a field and have made assumptions and perceived them to be slow and tamed beasts...guess you should go back and trace them back to what they used to be...

riding a BULLET through city traffic is a perfect comparison to a bull ploughing a field...but the moment you make it feel the empty stretch of land coated with gravels and polished with tar...let the pure wind kiss it...the beast awakens...just like a bull having remembrance of its wild side..

the search for perfection ends...the shades of nature which the Almighty has painted in perfect colours...the stones covered with brightest green carpet of grass...crystal clear water carving its way out of the rocks...gush of rain water flowing down the hill...sweet melody of wind squeezing out of tiny gaps between the passes...branches and leaves adding the jazz effect to it...

Guess this is how i can explain the ride to India’s glorious past...Ajintha and Ellora caves...it’s not about where you heading...its all about what lies in between...!!!

bullets is what i used to and still call these amazing mechanical beast..i grew up around these bikes but got formally introduced to my father's '76 model standard ven i was in 8th std...wohh..the bike was thrice my age..conflicts had to arise...i wanted it to be me and there it was a '76 standard...i m talking about chrome plated levers...the shortest handle you will eva find..the seat was set in line with the tank..

i was in my higher secondary...guess those days modification was the word...think it was all about getting some money from your parents and buying all you think will look good on your ride and somehow manage to screw them on..well like everyone even i got affected by it...lol..moreover i wanted my oldie to get a makeover...

thus i set forth...first task...convince mommy to be the sponsor..after a lot of award winning acting..i did succeed...so i went out looking for a reflection of me..lol..at the end of a pretty long, greasy and sweaty day..my oldie had a brand new butterfly handle..a step seat..yea..guess that was me...relaxed..rather lazy..

few years rode by and i was in for my engineering degree...i couldn't find a fat one with the lovely heavycrank one that i was used to...so i talked myself into getting a '97...with years of experience..was more mature in my thoughts...guess so..definately confident of what i actually wanted my ride to be...

for the sinister i had been..guess i needed someone to confess to..but hold it..that doesnt mean i was going to stop being one..haha..hmmmm..what i actually needed was something to balance me out...someone to bear with my neverending confessions...what i needed was my own SAINT..!!
