Apart from my regular job as a Technical Officer in the Association of State Road Transport Undertakings (ASRTU), New Delhi, I have been in close touch with different social welfare Organization. On the year ‘99, I undertook an all India motorcycle tour with a mission to spread awareness on Eye Donation and HelpAge India. HelpAge India and Eye Bank association of India supported this. This was flagged from Sirfort in New Delhi. I started from Delhi to Ambala-Jammu-Srinagar-Kargil-Leh-Khardungla-Manali-Chandigarh-Saharanpur -Lucknow-Alahabad-Varanasi-Patna-Siliguri-Darjleng-Gangtok-Gwahati-Tezpur-Itanagar-Naugaon-Jorhat-Dimapur-Kohima-Imphal-Silchar-Aizwal-Agartala-Shilong-Gwahati-Siliguri-Calcutta-Bhubaneswar-Raipur-Nagpur-Hyderabad-Anantapur-Bangalore-Velore-Kanchipuram-Madras-Mahabalipuram-Pondychari-Madurai-Kanyakumari-Trivendaram-Cochin-Mangalore-Goa-Mumbai-Surat-Ahmedabad-Bhuj-Badmer-Jaisalemer-Sam-Pokhran-Jodhpur-Ajmer-Jaipur-Gwalior- Agra and closed at Delhi. This tour was much challenging covered 17,070 kms in 57 days of all States and Union tertiary of India . On the year 2002 I undertake one of the most challengeable and adventurous expedition accompanying by my wife on our Royal Enfield to the highest pass of the world and placed a stone marked ”World Peace”. The expedition was supported by United Nation and Gandhi Darshan Samiti, it was flagged off on 13th August 2002 at 10.40 am from Rajghat, New Delhi and covered all the eight passes of Himalaya. On the year 2004 I started for South Asian expedition accompanying by my wife, with the message of health (HIV/AIDS) was flagged off from New Delhi on 25th Feb.2004 at 11.25am. . It was 64days of journey with covering 16,840 kms of all most all part of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Srilanka. It was supported by CARE, Population Foundation of India, and Voluntary Health Association of India.. We targeted to met 80,000 students, 3500 truck drivers, at least 1000 sex workers. We received good support from national/local TV channels an News papers. On the year 2005 I participated in Himalayan Oddessi, this was organized by Royal Enfield, which was flagged from Delhi to Khardungla on 27 June 2005. On the year 2006, I am preparing for Limca book of World Record.. . I always received good support from my office and society. I feel lucky to get full moral support from my wife and two college going children Anupam at NID, Ahmedabad and Anusha at NIFT, Delhi.
