2000 model RE500 Classic in black and gold
 couple of BMW Airheads
couple of HD Sportsters and a few more.......
Hi guys, my name is Dewey and I am a motorcycleaholic. Have been into motorcycles since I was 13 years old, am currently 53. I have a RE500 Classic in black with gold pinstripes. It is a most beautiful motorcycle and I really like to tinker with it. Have done a few modifications to it and have more in the works. Tried to put a picture on the website, but it didn't work. I really enjoy my RE and also like to help others with their RE problems. I am not a mechanic but really enjoy working on, fixing up, and hot-rodding motorcycles especially vintage or new vintage (RE) motorcycles. Have been posting on this board for quite a while, so some of you know me, or my online self anyway. Last Janurary 3 ,I was the reciepent of a new heart. Never thought that would happen to me. My old one was worn out and had to get a replacement. It works fine and I am able to work on my bikes again after seven years of paying people to do it. The RE is an excellent machine, corners great (out ran a Bonnie the other day), runs smooth, starts easy, and is easy to maintain. For all you wannabuys out there, if you want an RE, buy it. Don't believe the stories about maintenance. They are easy to maintain and can be rebuilt time and time again. Parts are readily available and they are really simple machines. Just get a manual and get to it!!! If you have any questions or problems with your RE email me and I will help if I can.......Later.....Dew.
