The 2nd of September, 2006 saw the return of Royal Enfields to the racing tracks of Sriperumbadur like never before. Along with other events simultaneously being run with the Ucal Rolon National Road Racing Championship, Royal Enfield returned to the Sriperumbadur tracks with a thunder. From 1600 to 1630 hrs, it was an awe-inspiring spectacle to watch the pack of leather-laden bikers on the tarmac.

The Royal Enfields had separate classification for 350 and 351 and above (500, 535cc) bikes with concurrent practices and races. Various bikers and biker enthusiasts from around the city went berserk watching numerous participants on the track ripping past one another. It was an event that many bikers would remember for years to come.
